Artist's Comments

This ring is made with copper and brass. The ring consists of 75 parts that were connected using silver solder. The helicopter blade actually spins. I had lots of fun creating this finger riding automaton.

That is a very neat-looking ring, though it also seems like it would be a bit awkward to wear.

What do you use to do the soldering? Jeweller's torch? Soldering iron? Resistance soldering?

A very original idea :) cool work!

This ring would definately be awkward to wear as an everyday accessory. My entention was to produce this piece with more of a sculptural nature rather than a wearable piece of jewelry. It is just a fun art ring. I use acetylene torches and silver solder on most of my work.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

And awkward or not, I'd wear it.

This is the hugest ring I've ever seen. I don't think that sb could be able to wear it every day. I like it!!! It's so mechanical.
